Somewhere on the border of Michigan lies this little truck stop diner.  I stopped by, after a long day of driving through Michigan and finding nothing I wanted to photograph.  Immediately I saw Jean and knew she was what I had been looking for all along.  So I sat right down at her bar, camera in hand, and ordered a piece of pumpkin pie while I convinced her that she wanted me to photograph her.  It was quite the fight, but I won, and so, here is Jean.
