Vladimir Preshepha (Владимир Иосифович--Кто такие мормоны?)

I cannot believe I never posted the 5th and my favorite of the short documentary series I created while in Russia two summers ago.  This one is of Vladimir Preshepha, a former Russian cosmonaut.  They were a series of videos created with Brigham Young University for The Church of Jesus Christ of Later-Day Saints, sending me to Moscow to complete the project.  Vladimir was one of my favorites, one of the nicest and smartest older man I've ever met.

Third Russian Mormon Video: Евгения. 8 лет занималась велоспортом. Я мормон.

The third of the Russian videos.  This one is of Evegenya.  An eight year bicycle champion.  I got the luxury of editing this lovely lady's video.  So, double enjoy this video as I not only shot but edited it!

Third of Russian Mormon Videos: Vasya--musician, vocalist [Василий -- музыкант, вокалист]

"I think every electrician dreams of being an artist", says Vasya, a Russian vocalist, band member,  and music teacher.  He is the feature of the second of the videos produced during my first time in Moscow, thanks to Brigham Young University.  The music on the video is his own.  Vasya creating music was fun to work with both while filming and giving us automatic music for editing.  However, it did prove quite a challenge when we only got one take and we were trying to run 2 cameras in a very tight space.  However, it turned out nicely, so enjoy on this quite Sunday evening.

Russian Mormon Videos: Тимур Кодиров - Бизнесмен и Мормон [one of five]

Over a year ago, I went to Moscow, Russia with The Church of Jesus Christ and Brigham Young University to create a series of five short documentary videos about Mormons in Moscow.  They are being released currently, so I will continue to "release" them on my blog one week at a time.  Subtitles are available for those non-Russian speakers as an option on YouTube.  However, I can't seem to figure out how to embed videos on the blog.. so if any of you have some hints on how to do so, please share!  In the meantime, either click on the image or the link below.

Half Day Around Trailer for UVU

Recently Tree and I released a trailer for Utah Valley University, as they atlantic-drugs.net/products/kamagra.htm'>are promoting our documentary for us.  Feel free to check it out, on-line at  http://vimeo.com/29840050  It's quite similiar to the promo video we have previously made, but it's for a completely new audience who haven't heard a thing about the project, so we decided to combine old ideas with new footage.  So incase some parts seem familiar (like the music and dialogue), don't worry, we're not a one trick pony, and we have more up our sleeves.

UVU will be promoting the film and we will have a rough cut for you by the end of October!  Until then, go check out photographs at Juice 'n Java, Provo. 280 W. 100 N.
