Today is election day. Full of excitement, people out an about, and everybody sporting Jordanian flags, scarves, and photos of the candidates they will vote for. Here they have a woman's voting station and a men's. Down the road from one another, where you vote is separate and private. The men sitting around, catching up with one another outside of the voting booth, and the females doing the same. I found this girl sitting outside of the school where she voted, sporting a photo pinned to her dress of the female Bedouin candidate for parlament she voted for. If elected, this woman will represent the village of Petra and the people around it in parlament.
In other news, I found this photo from an old roll of film from America's most recent election. Found this man walking down the street in downtown Chicago.
